Gasway join NCFC celebrations by sponsoring charity game

What a weekend for Norwich City Football Club.

The Celebrations began at City hall with a civic reception for the NCFC playing squad after successfully clinching promotion to the Premiership and claiming the 2018- 2019 Championship league title.

An open top bus parade took them through the city centre to Carrow road, where fans gathered to watch the team perform a lap of honour before a very special, celebration match.

Gasway and everyone at Carrow road united in giving Wes Hoolahan and Russell Martin a warm welcome home and they were joined by a host of former City Stars for the game.

Both teams ran out in the iconic and award winning 2011-12 Premier League Norwich City Kit, proudly reinvented displaying the Gasway logo.

The game which attracted over 20,000 fans raised funds for the Community Sports Foundation as well as charities chosen by the former players, Stepping Stones, Temple St Hospital, Russell Martin Foundation and Crohns and Colitis UK.

Liam Betts Managing Director of Gasway said

“What an incredible season this has been for everyone involved with the football Club. Gasway and everyone from the Flagship group are delighted to be part of the celebrations, recognising two City Legends, and supporting their chosen charities while honouring this teams’ phenomenal achievements”
